I’ve been using the mighty vaporizer for over 3 years now. I also like to enjoy a clean cooling unit to enjoy the best quality of vapor. I tend to clean the cooling unit every 5-10 capsules, and keep a few around to replace when the smell isn’t fresh anymore.
After trying many methods, the following easy method works best. Keep in mind that Storz & Bickel, the manufacturer of the Mighty Vaporizer, does not officially recommend or endorse cleaning the cooling unit in a dishwasher. The manufacturer’s guidance is typically designed to ensure the longevity and performance of their products.
That being said, I’ve been cleaning my cooling units in the dishwasher for two years without any issues. This is how you do it:
- Disassembly:
- Carefully disassemble the cooling unit from the Mighty Vaporizer. Make sure to remove any parts that can be taken apart.
- Preparation:
- Rinse the cooling unit with warm water to remove any loose debris or residue before placing it in the dishwasher.
- Dishwasher Placement:
- Place the disassembled cooling unit in the top rack of the dishwasher. The top part can be placed through a diswasher vertical pin, and the bottom part should be screwed gently through one of the properly sized spaced in the bottom of the top rack.
- Run Dishwasher
- Drying:
- Once the dishwasher cycle is complete, carefully remove the cooling unit from the dishwasher and inspect it for any signs of damage. Shake off excess water and let it air dry completely before reassembling and using.
- Reassembly:
- Reassemble the cooling unit once it is completely dry and ensure that all parts are properly fitted and secured.
